Stop laughing at sincerity, I beg of you.
In Bitterblue the characters actually say they love each other - yes, PLATONICALLY - as opposed to just letting it be “understood”. Thank you, thank you Kristin Cashore.
I’m a little confused how people can consider themselves part of only one ‘fandom’. Like, if we generally look at posts for, read fanfiction for and daydream about characters from something, that means we’re part of the fandom, right? So… how is it POSSIBLE to be part of only one or two?
Sometimes I’m listening to a Matt Nathanson song and I just want to cry because all the lyrics are magic and i don’t know how he does it oh my God.
WE CHANGED TIMEZONES?
I get too distraught about everything. Like if there’s ever a tiny little character development in anything, I have to spend hours processing it, pacing around and around my room and trying to absorb it.
And when people criticize things I really super love - not things I like, I get that, but things that mean a lot to me - I end up confused about it for days after, like I can’t separate their opinions from the books from their opinions about me, or maybe I am just mortally wounded on the thing’s behalf.
